Mt Coghill Vineyard is a family-owned boutique winery, 20 minutes north west of Ballarat offering visitors a newly built cellar door. The cellar door was built from old rustic timbers and corrugated iron and overlooks the beautiful volcanic formations of the Ballarat Highlands.

The cellar door provides a variety of single vineyard cold climate wines including chardonnay, rose, pinot noir, sparkling rose, sparkling pinot chardonnay and more. Their wines have received great reviews from Campbell Mattinson of Hallidays and also silver medals at the Ballarat Wine Show in 2023.

Wine tastings, snacks, chocolate and wine pairing (featuring four handmade, Australian native inspired chocolates and four matching wines) are available most Sundays. Grazing boards and pizza Sundays will be limited to selected weekends of the year. You can find further information by heading to the website.

Bookings are requested for Sundays to ensure guests order and receive their preferred experience. Private events are possible on other days of the week. Please head to the contact form on the website to include details of your proposed event.

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities.

These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years.

As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
